Why can’t diabetics use wax strips?

• Diabetes can cause the skin to thin. Diabetics also have poor circulation - therefore bruising and tearing can result from waxing.

Why do I have wax residue left on my skin?

• The wax strips have not been heated sufficiently.
• The wax strips were left on your skin for too long before removing – remember once you have smoothed the wax strip firmly onto your skin you must remove it IMMEDIATLEY
• Solution: Re-apply the same strip in the usual way then pull the strip off in the same direction as it was applied. Use the Azulene post wax sachet to soothe the skin and remove any remaining wax residue. Do not wash off with water.

Why does the wax remain on the plastic strip and not transfer to the body?

• The strip wasn’t warmed sufficiently. Solution: Fold strip in half and rub vigourously before reopening strip and reapplying

Why is my skin bruised / irritated after waxing?

• If the area is waxed repeatedly over a short space of time, the skin can bruise and become irritated.
• It is vital for the skin to be held taut to prevent any movement of the skin when the strip is removed.
• When pulling back the strip it is crucial that the wax strip is pulled back, parallel and close to the skin and not upwards. Pulling upwards may result in bruising, or breaking the hair and not removing the hair with the root.
• Always apply a soothing oil, cream or gel (eg. Aloe Vera) after waxing.

Why has the hair not been removed?

The following points need to be adhered to for the hair to be removed effectively:

• The hair needs to be at least 2- 4mm long before it is removed.
• The skin must be clean, dry and oil free before waxing.
• The skin must be held taut when removing the strips.
• The strip must be pulled off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
• The strip must be removed in one quick motion – not too slowly.
• The strip must not be removed upwards but must be kept parallel and close to the skin.
• The wax on the strips must be heated sufficiently, by rubbing the strips vigorously or by using a hair dryer.

Good value and works well

I use these for my upper lip and they are very quick, easy and effective. I also cut in half and into a curved shape to do my eyebrows. :)

Effective and cheap!

I use this for my upper lip and it removes almost every single hair in one application. This is the first product I used to wax my upper lip and will also be my last.

Great product

I find the small Julienne Soft Feel Wax Strips highly effective. I use them for my upper lip and it works very well. I used to go to the beautician but now I use the julienne soft feel wax strips which are quick, easy and best of all a lot cheaper. Sometimes there is remaining wax residue but this comes off easily when you place the back of a strip (side with no wax) onto the reside and pull off. Pretty much all of the strips I have tried leave wax residue behind and sometimes when waxing my legs I use an oil to get rid of the residue.

Easy waxing

This is the easiest way I have found to do facial hair..... one swipe all gone. Cheaper than going to a saloon every couple of week but the same results.

Wide strips, fast and easy

I love that these strips are wider then usual because it finishes the job quicker. Not only that but they only need one pull and all the hair is out! love love love them and soo cheap!

Love these strips

Julienne wax strips are such good wax strips; they were the first type of waxing product I used when I began waxing and are great for beginners. I use these on my legs and they are a quick and easy way to get rid of hair. The strips feel soft and effectively remove the hair, sometimes there is some remaining wax but that is easily fixed by using another strip on the remaining wax area. Julienne wax strips = fantastic product.
